Afterwards, I made some grillin' food & we washed the van in the driveway. The van was a filthy thing! It still isn't super clean cause I was almost out of soap, but it looks a million times less dirty. heh. We all jsut hung out outside for a long while after. It was a simple, nice day. Loved it!

Sunday fun!
Okay, so it really wasn't all that much fun, but it was nice. It seems we have been struck with a couple days of nice weather. I went to do a little shopping today - got Dock man some work jeans & Maia some new tops (can't resist the stuff they have at Kohl's that store is my weakness for my daughter's clothing, among other things.) It is impossible for me to resist those charity toys & books they have at Kohl's - Kohl's Cares for Kids. The stuffed toys are always super soft & pretty well made, as far as stuffed animals go. Because they are charity things, they only cost 5 bucks! I have gotten the How Do Dinosaurs... books & stuffies, the Guess How Much I Love You & You're All My Favorites & the stuffies, some Dr. Suess Stuffies - Yertle the Turtle & the Fox in Socks (they were out of the books *pouting* and Hortons!) and today I got the Kung Fu Panda book with 2 of the stuffies. Po & Tigress. When was the last time you paid 5 bucks for a big, super soft stuffed animal? The books are always a fun read, too.

Way cool, I was reading your blog and my seven year old son said, "I want those stuffed animals" ... and in my head I am thinking, "I want Jack Black" ...
It's 'bout time we got some summer weather! We hung out also ... well until I made my Husband rent a sod cutter. Great weather just makes me want to garden ... it's gotta be some sickness.
